Celebrating tomorrow's women in science and technology.

We invite female freshmen and sophomore students to an event that will help introduce them to science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) and inspire them to think about careers within the STEM fields. HerWorld is a program developed by DeVry University that will take place on March 19, 2013 in Downtown Decatur at the recently remodeled Marriott Courtyard.

At HerWorld, your students will experience an engaging, dynamic presentation and video, and hear from successful women in STEM fields. They will participate in team-building and educational exercises with other young women from across the state. This is an innovative and educational day that your students are sure to remember. Please share this information with girls whom you feel will benefit from this experience.

This year our speakers represent organizations such as the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, Technology Association of Georgia: Women in Technology; Morehouse School of Medicine, Symantec Corporation, and more.

Educators are encouraged to participate with their students and students are welcomed to invite their parents. The event is complimentary.
