International Student Admissions Requirements

1. Proof of English Language proficiency for non-native speakers of English. This must be demonstrated by providing one of the following:

Official evidence of a score of 550 or higher on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) exam or 213 on the computer based equivalent. A certificate of completion of an intermediate ESL course (English as a Second Language) such as that provided by the ESL Language Schools.

Applicant graduated from a high school or approved GED program in which the primary language of instruction was English or;

Student has completed one semester or two quarters, with at least a "C" average, at an accredited post-secondary institution in which the language of instruction was English.

2. Official transcripts of all high school and college records.

All documents must be accompanied by an official English translation. Transcripts are official only if they are sent directly from your school to our Registrar’s office.

3. Official proof of acceptable scores on ACT, SAT, or the DeVry entrance exam (CPT).

Acceptable scores vary according to program.

4. Submit the following documents as evidence that funds for college tuition, fees, and living expenses will be available before you enroll:

A sworn or notarized letter from an officer at the sponsor’s bank certifying that the sponsor has at least the equivalent of US$20,000.00 on deposit. NOTE: ALL FUNDS MUST BE REPORTED IN U.S. DOLLAR EQUIVALENCY.

5. A certified statement of good health from a qualified physician.

Proof that you have been immunized against Mumps, Measles, and Rubella.

In addition Bahamian students are required to provide an official copy of the BGCSE showing at least five subjects passed at the "C" level or above.

Also Acceptable would be one of the following:
